An Event Brand

A Modern Event Experience

ACCE—the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives— planned an event with an estimated 2500 CEOs. They came to us because they needed a team to create a fresh look and design all their assets for this annual conference.
We wanted to ensure the new design would attract and inspire CEOs to attend. We decided that the feel of the event was to be modern with a little bit of edge because the theme of the conference was to "spark" new and fresh approaches to business.

An Identity Met with Excitement

ACCE wanted to see 3 options of what the branding could look like. We created the versions using the theme "spark" and presented the options. They picked the one they liked the most. We continued to build out the rest of the assets, including a 12-page brochure, postcard, and social media graphic templates. Because of COVID_19, the event was canceled, and we never finished the entire project.
Albeit short-lived, it did generate a lot of signups for the event, and the ACCE staff was extremely excited with what we created. Since the hard part of the project was already completed, we wanted to share the work done because we enjoyed working on this.

Logo Development

Since the event was being held in Dallas, TX, we wanted to pull inspiration from the city into the design. With Spark being the event's name, the solution was obvious–integrate a spark somewhere. However, we wanted the spark's shape to be more meaningful. After some brainstorming, we saw the Reunion Tower and realized its lights and shape sort of resembled a spark. We came up with 3 versions utilizing our take on the word "spark." ACCE picked the 3rd option and we then flushed out the visual identity.

Colaleral Development

Once we established all the design styles, we designed a 12-page brochure, email header, and postcard to assist their marketing team to get sign-ups and sponsors.
